Welcome to It's Okay Here
A raw and real space for emotional honesty
Hi,
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve had this space in my heart for a long time — starting it, stopping it, coming back to it again and again.
For the past few years, life has been full of personal and emotional ups and downs.
It left me with very little bandwidth, and for a long time, I didn’t have the capacity to be consistent with anything — including writing.
But lately, something has shifted.
I’ve been building a small, quiet discipline — writing, reflecting, sitting with my emotions rather than rushing past them.
And while I love writing (I always have), it sometimes feels lonely to do it in silence.
So I thought — why not make a little space where the writing can breathe, where the feelings can live outside my notebooks?
That’s what It’s Okay Here is.
Think of this space as a small public journal.
A place for emotional honesty, slow healing, and soft rediscovery.
There’s no big message.
No polished lessons.
No "how-tos."
Just quiet reflections on feelings, on patterns, on trying to live a little closer to who I really am.
If anything I write feels familiar to you,
if it sits gently next to something you’ve been carrying too,
you’re always welcome to read along — or to share your story, if you’d like.
There’s no rush here.
No pressure to be anything other than who you are, where you are.
It’s okay to be wherever you are.
It’s okay to be here.
Thank you for being here, even for a little while.
— Arushi
