I’m in therapy right now, actively trying to unlearn the old habits and patterns that kept me small, and this piece came at the perfect time. So much of what you wrote mirrors what I’m trying to make space for in myself. It felt like being understood without having to explain anything. Thank you for writing something that resonated this deeply, I’m really grateful I got to read it today.

What you’ve unlearned, how you’ve evolved, and now this writing is the essence of Narrative Therapy. If someone struggles with undertaking what you’ve offered, I’d say that looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that is certified in Narrative Therapy could add a lot of support. Serious trauma can make growth , as a solo endeavor, very difficult.

Having said that, you’ve gifted us in a really vulnerable and beautifully written piece for possibilities that truly are within reach!

Wow! I love this post. As a life story coach I help people capture their memories to create their life stories to share as part of their legacy. You have gone beyond that to let us know we can create another story we choose going forward. I’d love to add that component to my courses.
