I agree 💯. Infact I am a true believer of that. But in today's world it's safe to keep filters.

Wow! This hit home in so many ways. You are right I keep things to myself because people dont receive rawness well. Which is ironic because people are always asking for honesty...but when you give it to them, then you're the drama. I've learned people that are really connected to you will digest that honesty even when it's not pretty. Being more honest has literally saved me life. Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you for sharing this, Nita. I know exactly what you mean about people asking for honesty but then not being able to take it. I have felt that too, being seen as the drama just for speaking the truth.

I have also found that the people who really matter will take your honesty, even when it is not pretty. And yes, being honest with myself has been the biggest shift.
