I try to remind myself of this every now and then... It's so silly though. Why would we care what other people think? A hundred years from now, no one (probably, haha) will even remember our failures or clumsiness. And if they did, we wouldn't be there, or wayy too old, to care.

Right! All we will be remember is the regrets of not doing the things we loved because of other people. We indeed are silly!

I also think, if you wait till you’re “ready”, you’ll never be ready to do anything. Not only should we do it badly, let’s do it scared too 🤷🏽‍♀️.

I loved this very much.

I’m so glad you liked it! And I wholeheartedly agree. I call it brave-ish. You don’t have to brave… just enough to take one step beyond the fear. Thank you so much for reading! ❤️

wonderful topic and wonderful words! i can so relate to it as well, so many hobbies while growing up, and yet giving them up, quitting after comparing the results to others. now, years later, i still feel the pressure of doing something new, scared to fail. but! we all come the that point when you try it once again and your heart skips a beat – that’s the feeling you never forget, the feeling of happiness when you do something you always loved! and doesn’t matter if you do it perfectly or not, as long as you enjoy the process and it brings you joy – that’s what truly counts 🙌🏻

Exactly, that feeling is everything! It’s like what you wrote in your post. Take one step beyond the fear. And you will find that feeling. ❤️
